Preschool Celebration

On the last day before Christmas break Lil's preschool has a celebration in which the family and extended family is welcome to come and eat cookies and sing some Christmas carols.  This year G-mom was able to take some time off and meet us.  It was perfect because she could come to Lily and Declan's classrooms.

Lindsay took some video so click on the links below to view.

Botanical Gardens

We went to the Botanical Gardens about a week before Christmas with Aunt Amanda and Aunt Lindsay.  It is so beautiful at nigh with all the lights and then have a wagon ride you can take through the park.  It was a super fun evening and a great holiday tradition!

Legoland

Legoland is awesome at Christmas time!  They know how to do snow.  The kids loved the sledding and tubing and of course just having fun with each other.  It was a great day filled with our favorite people!

Sunday School

Lily started Sunday School this fall with Declan.  It is so nice for them to have a place to go and learn about God in a way that they understand.  We had a specail treat right before they went on their Christmas break.  When we went to pick them up they had prepared a couple songs to sing for us.  So cute!

Here is the video I got of them singing!

YMCA Christmas lunch at Amy's

Amy was so gracious and hosted a luncheon for all of our friends who we work out together at the gym.  She did such a wonderful job.  The house and table were beautiful and the food was delicious. It was so nice to get together outside the gym and see what we all really look like with make up and regular clothes!

Canterbury Gardens

We try every year to make a trip to this store in Escondido.  They have the most beautiful Christmas decorations.  I was hoping to find a few ornaments and then let the girls each pick out one.  Lily was acting very tired when we got there and then just as we were about to get in line to purchase our ornaments Lily threw up twice all over me and the floor and an entire basket of ornaments.  Aunt Amanda cleaned up for us as we went outside the store to make sure she didn't throw up again and we cleaned ourselves off as best we could and headed home.  I think I might have to wait a couple years before I go back to the store.  This unfortunately was the start of the stomach flu in our house.  Lily first and then Ella.  By the sheer grace of God I managed to escape it.  Anyway here are the few shots I got of some of the kids outside the store prior to the incident.

Frozen!

We took the gang to see Frozen in early December.  I think this is my new favorite Disney movie.  The music was incredible and the story was so good.  The kids didn't move at all during the show.  It was that good!
