My first movie!

Sunday July 17th Lily went to her fist movie - Winnie the Pooh!  It was so much fun and she really enjoyed herself.  Hey whats not to love a movie date with Mom, popcorn a sprite and M & M's.  Mike is not a big movie fan so this is the first of many movie dates to come!  I love having one on one time with the girls and I treasure these moments and lock them away in my memory.  I think she has my love of movies and if not I will just feed her more candy.  ( j/k)

In the lobby with her tickets!

In her seat with all her goodies!

After the show when we were walking down from our seats and Lily decided to start dancing to the music.  I tried to video it but it was to dark so here are some shots of our little dancer!

Ella's Baptism

On July 16th we celebrated Ella's Baptism!  It was such a special day not only because she was baptized - she shared this joyous occasion with her two cousins - Lexi and Quinn.  It was a great day and all 3 girls looked so beautiful.  Here are some of the pictures from the day.

I've got Spots!

Friday afternoon started like a lot of our Fridays with a Pizza night with Adam, Lindsay, Declan and Lexi.  Mike got home early this week so he picked up the girls and I met them there after work.  When I got there Lily wasn't quite herself she felt a little hot and had some red blotches on her face.  I wasn't initially worried because Lily has really sensitive skin so I thought it would just go away.  Wrong.  Saturday she woke up with spots all over her face and arms and a few spread out over the rest of her body and a temp of 103.7 so off to the Dr we went.  Luckily my Dr's have Saturday and Sunday office hours which I love.
When we got in to see the Dr. she said "Hi I'm Lily I've got spots!"  The Dr immediately took a liking to her  - this kid knows how to win over a person..  He did a strep test because she had some white spots on her tonsils but that came up negative.  If you have never had a strep test let me tell you what they do.  They take a large Q-tip and stick it down your throat to get a sample.  Lily didn't make a peep.  She really didn't even seem sick except for the rash all over her.  The Dr. decided it was viral and he couldn't do anything for her.  They said it will just have to run it's course.
Luckily Lily is much better today and the fever is gone.  See Lily below with her spots.

Here she is before our Dr. visit!

Later in the day the rash got worse before it got better!

Our sweet Ella!

Ella you will be 5 months tomorrow.  My sweet baby the time as always goes by to fast and you are growing up right before our eyes.  You finally decided to roll over yesterday and of course you did this for the first time while I was at work.  You were at Pam's (Lily and Ella's daycare).  I had just told you that morning not to roll over at Pam's because I wanted to be the first to see you do it.  I think you understood what I was saying and so the defiance begins.

Don't you just love her facial expression!

Ella you are such a joyful child!

Here are 2 videos of her rolling over.  She wouldn't do it of course so I stopped and then I caught the tail end of it.  As you can see she gets frustrated easily.  I have no idea where she gets that from!

Here is where she finally did it!

Twinkle Twinkle Our Little Star!

Lily has just recently started dressing up and telling us that she is a movie star!  She has also started to sing.  Check out the pictures and video - is she not just the cutest thing.  I am not biased or anything.

Oh and sometimes she does this with only accessories and no clothes.  At least she had shorts on here!

Check out this video!

4th of July Fun!

We had a great 4th of July weekend and it ended with a party at Bill and Charlene's house.

Backyard Fun

Today we were playing in the backyard and Lily decided she didn't need her clothes.  This girl just loves to be naked!

Pool Party

We went over to Aunt Amanda's and Uncle Garretts to get in some pool time over the 4th of July weekend.  It was Ella's first time in the pool.  Aunti Dani came over to visit the girls so she went with us.  We had so much fun.  Lily just loves the water almost as much as she loves Uncle Garrett!

Working Mom

As June came to an end I headed back to work.  It is a mixture of emotions.  I enjoy working and love the people I work with but I miss the girls terribly and am afraid I will miss out on so much.  Luckily Gramma takes lots of pictures for me while I'm away so I don't miss to much.

Lily likes to put on my heals and tell us she is going to work!

Here is a cute video of Lily heading off to work

The girls are doing great.  Miss Ella in her Jumperoo!
